School Tours
Application to Tour
Rugby tours:
A school tour is an exciting way to build the team spirit and identity of a group of players. It provides a rare opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better and to establish a common style and purpose, as well as making friendships at home and abroad which may last a lifetime.
When planning a tour with another Union, whether it is training or playing a team from another Union, including Ireland, Scotland or Wales, approval must be obtained from England Rugby Schools in advance, this is in accordance with RFU Regulation 10 and World Rugby Regulation 16.
If your tour involves an overnight stay you will need to consider the implications of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements and Regulations Act 2018.
When touring to another union, schools need to apply for permission to tour from the Hon. Secretary England Rugby Schools
