The latest Party in the Car Park took place before the England v Argentina game on Saturday 26th November 2016. This is a recognition event that is run twice a year for teachers and other members of staff working in education.

Well over 125 teachers and their guests were in attendance at this event held in the Cardinal Vaughan Car Park at Twickenham. Free food and drink was provided by the ERFSU to recognise and reward the valuable work teachers do in schools. It was certainly enjoyed by all those present, with the occasion providing the opportunity for teachers to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from all over the country, as well as meeting officials from the ERFSU and the RFU.

Andrew Wilesmith, Chairman of Rugby Development said “it’s a great day out and a brilliant opportunity to meet with teachers across the country and hear the great work that is going on. It is our way of saying thank you to them for their efforts in ensuring young people across England has the chance to play this great sport. I look forward to welcoming everyone to the next Party in the Car Park.”

The ERFSU encourage all members of staff, who have match tickets, to join us at the next event which will take place before the England v Scotland game on Saturday 11th March 2017. Partners and family members are more than welcome to join us.
