Cronk-Cunis National Under 23 Festival
THE POSTPONED FESTIVAL HAS HAD TO BE CANCELLED – NOT ENOUGH ENTRIES
The Cronk-Cunis Festival is a rugby competition for former pupils of rugby-playing schools throughout England. The Festival provides a vital link between school and adult club rugby and it tries to ensure that these ex-pupils keep on playing rugby once their school days are over and during their elusive, itinerant student years, thus encouraging them to join a club when they graduate and become more settled.
Over the past 21 years, more than 100 different teams have taken part in the festival, representing schools from all over the UK. The Festival exists to bridge the gap between school and club rugby and regularly features many of the leading rugby playing schools in the country.
For Competition Rules and Guidance please see the links at the header of this page.
The format for 2018 will be pool games, followed by a Place Decider Tournament. There are three competitions offered:
Mens 12-a-side (squad size: 18 players)
Mens 15-a-side (squad size: 22 players)
Women’s XRugby7s (squad size: 12 players)
